Palau Güell - Barcelona

The Palau Güell is a stunning residence, located at Nou de la Rambla 3 E - 08001, 

Barcelona and  was built between 1886 and 1890 to the big Güell family, is an example of 

Gaudí’s architectural style. The great innovation is in the  parabolic arches in the entrance, 

enhanced by typically extravagant Modernist grilles. Inside, the grand hall is without doubt 

the most remarkable room of the house, with its parabolic cupola pierced with small 

openings that allow light to filter through, giving the impression of the night sky!

The Gothic Quarter (Barri Gòtic) is the centre of the old town. Many of the buildings date from medieval times, and some others since the Roman settlement of Barcelona.

The most remarkable work of Antoni Gaudí is the Sagrada Família church, which has been under construction since 1882. 

Barcelona is the fourth most visited city in Europe after Paris, London, and Rome. You should visit! 

Matera - Italy

A troglodyte province in the region of Basilicata, south of Italy, Matera has a small canyon eroded over the years and boasts one of Europe’s oldest prehistoric sites. Only a half-century ago, its inhabitants lived in deplorable poverty. Today it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, attracting tourists from around the world and offering a luxury hotel truly unlike any other. The city preserves many monasteries and churches, picturesque houses dug into the calcareous rock and the Tramontano Castle from 16th century.

Museu Casa de Rembrandt

Não muito longe do bairro Chinês de Amesterdão e mesmo atrás do Red Light District. Se andar do lado este da Praça Dam em direcção ao Waterlooplein irá encontrar este museu, esta era a casa do famoso pintor Holandês Rembrandt onde nela viveu entre os anos 1639 e 1660.
Um moderno anexo foi recentemente construído junto à casa de Rembrandt. Juntas, estas duas casas são hoje em dia o museu de Rembrandt, mostrando a sua vida e trabalho. Adicionalmente, o anexo e a casa original serve como uma, pequena mas prestigiosa e cheia de estilo, sala de congressos. Para o visitante o Museu Casa de Rembrandt mostra os aspectos desconhecidos da famosa vida deste pintor e do espólio do artista.
História da casa
A casa foi construída em 1606, encontrando-se esta data marcada a ouro na parece frontal da casa. É relativamente larga, construída na nova e moderna parte este da cidade. Bastantes mercantes e financeiros de sucesso também construíram casas nesta nova parte da cidade Amesterdão.
Museu Rembrandt
Em 1906, durante o ano de Rembrandt, a fundação foi estabelecida para comprar a casa do pintor. Três anos mais tarde, depois de restaurada, o museu foi aberto ao publico. O Museu Casa de Rembrandt é uma reconstrução dos quartos de Rembrandt e do seu workshop. As peças de mobiliário e objectos da época foram cuidadosamente apresentados em conjunto com os rascunhos, esculturas e alguns quadros de outros pintores do tempo de Rembrandt. Uma colecção de quase todos os quadros de Rembrandt (mais de 250), os seus utensílios e técnicas gráficas utilizadas por ele, são também mostradas.

A Casa de Rembrandt é uma interessante reconstrução do dia quotidiano do pintor, onde ele vivia e onde trabalhava. Como sempre com a reconstrução, o visitante pode perder um pouco da autenticidade. Não obstante, a Casa de Rembrandt pode ser interessante para pessoas que querem saber mais sobre a vida do famoso pintor, dos seus trabalhos gráficos e mais sobre a época dourada vivida na Holanda em geral.

Os quartos que datam do século 17 também servem de auditório, na nova ala do museu, e estão disponíveis para aluguer para eventos especiais como jantares, recepções, encontros e aulas. Um moderno auditório com 70 lugares, na nova ala do museu, está totalmente equipado com modernos serviços técnicos (como instalação de som e de projector de vídeo).

O museu está localizado no centro do velho Amesterdão; cerca de 15 minutos a pé da Praça Dam, directamente até à Praça Waterlooplein.
Transporte publico - metro: Estação Waterlooplein; Eléctrico: linhas 9 e 14, paragem Waterlooplein.
Se insiste em usar o seu carro em Amesterdão, pode estacionar no parque subterrâneo debaixo do grande, edifício branco do Stopera (Município e Opera).

Quanto dinheiro devo levar na viagem para a europa?

Dinheiro impulsiona o mundo. Várias formas de dinheiro são aceitas em toda a Europa, tais como: moeda corrente local, cartões de crédito, traveller’s checks.
